CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES
Mr. Hart is a mechanical engineer with technical expertise
in the thermal sciences: heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
He has extensive experience with thermal insulation systems including performing insulation appraisals, specifying and evaluating thermal insulation systems for industrial and mechanical applications, specifying and evaluating insulation systems for building envelopes, and addressing root causes of insulation system failures. Mr. Hart has particular expertise in below ambient mechanical insulation systems including those for refrigeration and LNG systems.
Mr. Hart is an instructor for the National Insulation Association, teaching the “Insulation Energy Appraisal Program” (IEAP). This program instructs the students the engineering basics about how thermal insulation works, about the different types of mechanical insulation, how to use the 3E Plus® computer program, and how to perform
an energy appraisal.
