

Mr. Hart is an engineering consultant specializing in mechanical insulation. He has extensive experience appraising, specifying and troubleshooting thermal insulation for industrial and mechanical applications including chilled water, refrigeration and LNG systems.
Mr. Hart is an active member of a research subcommittee on vaper retarders for below ambient insulation systems (ASHARE, RP-1703). He is a former instructor for the National Insulation Association’s “Insulation Energy Appraisal Program” (IEAP), where he taught the fundamentals of thermal insulation, types of mechanical insulation, use of the 3E Plus® software and how to conduct an energy appraisal.

There are numerous law suits related to mold growth and construction defects in the building industry. Mr. Hart has experience in providing expert witness testimony as to construction defects in a particular building and its neglect following intrusion of water. Or, in other cases, there may be a construction defect but not the one identified by the plaintiffs as the cause.
